Who are we?
Badmintonvereniging Lisse was founded in November 1967, and is a small-scale club, where everyone should feel at home, but above all have fun in the sport. We always strive for involvement with our youth and adult members. We play in the sports hall of sports complex “De Waterkanten”.
What do we do?
Activities are organised for our members throughout the year.
For the youth, including a friends’ day, a parent-child tournament and mutual matches with other badminton clubs in the region. At the end of the season, the youth can earn a real diploma in various categories. Furthermore, the youth plays competition from September up until March. There is a serious battle to become the best team in the region. All this under the inspiring leadership of our youth trainer(s).
For our seniors, various activities are also organised, such as our “Bierfest evening” or our fun Christmas tournament in December. The season is always festively concluded with a fun tournament.
In addition, we are one of the few clubs (in the region) that has an automatic shuttlecock shooter (shuttlekanon)!
What makes our club so much fun?
The relaxed atmosphere and the fun tournaments will make many people decide to take a look at our club.
Why badminton?
There are quite a few misconceptions about badminton: boring sport, you only do that at the campsite, right?, “just” pass the shuttle around. Nothing could be further from the truth! Read some facts here that may change your opinion about badminton.

On this website! Are you enthusiastic? You can always come and train/play 3 times for free. We have rackets you can borrow.
