Jeugdsportfonds Lisse
Does a family have a low income and can their child therefore not become a member of a sports club or participate in music, dance or theatre? Then there is good news, as of 25 June 2017 the Jeugdsportfonds and Jeugdcultuurfonds are active in the municipality of Lisse.
What are the requirements?
- Only for children from 4 to 18 years old;
- Children must be registered in Lisse;
- The parent(s)/guardian(s) of the child have an income that is not higher than 120% of the social minimum;
- An intermediary makes the application, not the parents/guardians themselves;
- The money is paid directly to the sports/culture provider;
- An application can be submitted for each child in a family;
- Either a sports application or a cultural application can be made for one child, but not for both.
Compensation
The contribution for culture is a maximum of €450.00 per 12 months. The contribution for sports is a maximum of €225.00 per 12 months. These amounts include clothing and/or attributes.
Select a club or association
So, look with your child at which sport or cultural activity he or she wants to do and at which club or cultural institution. Gather information about what it costs to become a member of the club or to participate in the activity. Also find out what (sports) clothing/shoes and attributes are needed. For example, a badminton racket or musical instrument. With that information and proof of your income, you can then go to an intermediary to make an application.
Assessment and payments
The application is submitted by the intermediary to the Jeugdsportfonds or the Jeugdcultuurfonds. The application is approved or not based on the rules. If the application is approved, the money is paid directly to the sports club, swimming lessons, music school or suppliers of clothing and instruments.
